edgarskairansParticipantHello,
I am using a “grid” gallery on the product page. Could you please advise how to make the images adaptive, without gaps, regardless of their width and height, so they don’t appear as cells but adapt seamlessly?
I have added photos showing the problem and the desired result.
Thanks

crazyhegyisParticipantIm not a support staff but try going to theme setting>Single Product>Gallery
then look for Main image area theres an option to enable Main carousel auto height might fix the problem not sure.
if it works and the gap is still to big maybe you can alter it with the gallery gap slider setting there right at top of page in the setting areaOctober 8, 2024 at 10:04 am #603311
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
This is a gap setting between the images – https://take.ms/IkIp7, in your case, you have such images with the spaces so it looks like additional gaps – https://take.ms/nABtf, so cut those spaces in the images itself – https://take.ms/h9tPQ, reupload them and recheck the issue.
Kind Regards

edgarskairansParticipantHello
crazyhegyis, Thanks for the help, but “Main carousel auto height” doesn’t work with the “grid”.
Luke Nielsen, didn’t choose the best photos since they have white spaces at the top and bottom, the problem isn’t in the “gap”.
I added a photo for better understanding of the issue. Maybe you have ideas on how to fix it? And could you please tell me where to find the code responsible for creating product image galleries like “grid,” “combined grid 1,” “combined grid 2,” and “combined grid 3”?
Thanks

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
It’s because the “Main carousel auto height” option is related to the carousel and works only with it.
At the moment, I see that the issue in the different image sizes – https://take.ms/B4G3i, if you want to make them better, I suggest you upload images with equal sizes, e.g. 600×600 and then recheck the issue.
Let me know if you have additional questions.
Kind Regards

edgarskairansParticipantHello,
There will be no problems with having the same photo sizes, but unfortunately for us, it is possible. There are a lot of photos, and if we adapt all of them, either there will be white fields on the edges, or the photo will not be whole.
Thanks

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Basically, the product images are controlled by WooCommerce and the WoodMart theme doesn’t influence this.
You can find the sizes used on the demo here:
https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/image-size-content-alignment-product-grid/and Regenerate thumbnails using the appropriate plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

edgarskairansParticipantHello,
Problem with the display of the “grid gallery” on tablets and phones, where instead of a grid of photos, only one photo is displayed. Could you please advise how to fix this?
(check photos)Thanks

edgarskairansParticipantThank you, I found how to fix it. But I have another question: how can I make “Columns on desktop” and “Columns on tablet” more than 6?

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Glad that you found out how to fix it.
As you can see there is no option in Theme Settings available for making more than 6 columns. It requires Customization and this is beyond our limitations and support policy scope. Hope you can understand our limitations.
Kind Regards
