Product Styles in Hotspot

How can I control/set the styles of the products in the hotspot. The style is different from that set in my theme.

A hotspot is the option to show the product briefly and it has its own design not corresponding to the design you have set in the Theme Settings.

Thanks for that clarity.. As a best practice, it would however be better if I had the same amount of control over the product style in the hotspot element- this makes the overall design consistent. A different styling sticks out like a sore thumb- not sure I understand the decision to have hotspot product style hard-coded
