Product variation featured images not showing in Swatches

Hello! I’m trying to set the product variation images to show as swatches.

Using a product as an example where I have created just one color variation(blue), then I’ve enabled the “Grid swatch attribute to display” under the “Attribute Swatches” options and set it to the color attribute and I also enabled the “Use images from product variations”.

I also made sure that the color attributes haven’t got any color or image uploaded while the “Enable swatch” is disabled.

Then I visited the product detail page but I only see the select option for the color attribute,
