Product widget does not display variable product when parent product is hidden

Hi, I cannot use the product widget in our shop because we show all single variations and hide the parent product. I noticed a similar topic with the headline “Recently viewed widget does not display variable products” but unfortunately there is no solution posted. Is there a way to use the widgets in shops that have the options “Show single variant” and “Hide parent product” configured?

I guess you tested it with the products (grid or carousel) element, not with the product widget element.

Unfortunately, WC Product widget shows parent products only and won’t works with Single variation products.
You can create a ticket here: https://woodmart.canny.io/feature-requests so our developers will consider such a feature.
