montearancioParticipantIn the WoodMart theme “Products” Gutenberg block, with Data source set to “List of IDs”, the “Include only” field uses an AJAX title search to select products to include. Some products are never found when typing words that are present in their title, even when the searched text is correct and present in many other titles that are found regularly.
Concrete example:
– Product: “Cinturino per Orologio in Pelle ‘Classic’ – Nero” (ID 9158, slug: cinturino-per-orologio-in-pelle-classic)
– Searching “classic” in the “Include only” field, the dropdown only shows two other similar products (“…Marrone” ID 41521 and “…Verde” ID 40082), but NEVER the Nero product (9158), even scrolling through the entire results list.Checks already performed that rule out other causes:
– The product is published, visible, purchasable and in stock (confirmed via wp-json/wc/store/v1/products/9158: is_purchasable:true, is_in_stock:true, published status)
– Searching for the same product through another filter in the same block (“Category” + “Featured products”), the product IS found correctly
– SKU (GF25P1) and slug are correct, not duplicated
– Manually calling the REST endpoint without the include parameter, e.g. wp-json/wc/store/v1/products?search=classic, product 9158 DOES appear correctly in the JSON response along with the other “Classic” products
– So the issue is not in the database, the product title, its status, or WooCommerce’s core API search, but appears isolated to the search/filter logic of the Gutenberg block itself (possibly an include parameter wrongly applied client-side during search, which excludes some IDs from the results shown in the dropdown)Can you help me with this?
Thank you.

Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is causing the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists, keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and let me know so I can check and give you a possible solution.
Best Regards.

montearancioParticipantWhy did you delete an item and create another one with a different URL? Of course it works that way. I am saying that the widget doesn’t find some items. It finds the new ones. Now I have lost the old item and its Google indexing. You must not touch the items. It is an active e-commerce site. Now, where did the old item go?
September 29, 2026 at 1:05 pm #730299Hello,
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
While testing the issue, I duplicated the product and changed the title of one of the products to verify whether the issue was related to the product title/search functionality. This was done only for testing purposes.
Please share the correct WP-Admin login details in the Private Content area so we can restore the original product and make sure no product data is lost.
We apologize again for the confusion and will be careful not to modify any existing products further while investigating the issue.
Best Regards

montearancioParticipantok. Have you identified the cause of the problem of widget with “list of id”?
September 30, 2026 at 9:49 am #730330Hello,
At this point, we have not yet identified the exact cause of the issue with the “List of IDs” product search. Since the issue persists even with the third-party plugins deactivated, it requires further investigation.
Because this is an active e-commerce website, we don’t want to make further changes to products or other live-site data while testing.
We recommend creating a staging copy of the website where we can safely test the Gutenberg Products block, product search, and different configurations without affecting the live site.
Once the staging site is ready, please share the WP-Admin login details in the Private Content field. We can then investigate the issue further and determine why some existing product IDs are not appearing in the “Include only” search.
You can use the following guide to create a staging environment: https://www.wpbeginner.com/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/Best Regards
