Products + Layout

Good Afternoon,

Currently I have 10 products, and for each product I have a layout, is it possible to have 1 general layout and customize on the product page?

Some things I can only edit via Layout editor and that´s why I have a layout for each product.

But it doesn´t really make sense because if I have 100 products and I want to make a general change it will take me ages…

What´s the best way to go about this?

Hello,

You do not need one layout per product.

Create one General Single Product Layout > Navigate to Layouts > Add New > Single Product.

Build the layout with everything that should be common (price, gallery, tabs, icons, notices, etc.).

Assign it globally In the layout conditions, set it to All Products.

Use product-level data for customization like Product title, description, images, attributes, tabs, short description, etc. are pulled automatically from each product.

Create a separate layout only if a specific group of products needs a different structure. Assign those layouts by category, tag, or specific products, not one by one.

Firstly, thank you for your prompt answer!

That´s the problem mate, when I try to edit the products it´s very limited, it does not allow me to edit with elementor.

Do I need to edit with the theme editor?

Hello,

Elementor editing on individual products is limited because the layout is controlled by the Theme Layout. To customize, you should edit the layout via Layouts > Single Product in the WoodMart Layout Builder. Individual product data (title, images, description, attributes, short escri[tion etc.) will automatically populate in the global layout.
