Products with many variations make the web slower

I am very happy with the operation of your theme and for all the extras that includes the truth is that they load pretty fast.

The problem is in the product categories that include references with many variations, in this case “ring sizes”. The home page (which is usually the heaviest), the rest of the page or articles and the categories of products that do not have this type of variable products load in a short time.

Do you know if there is an option to reduce these loading times without eliminating the variations?

Will it be necessary to use a plugin that creates pages in AMP?

We are glad that you like our theme. Actually, it shouldn’t be caused by the number of variations since they are not loaded on the shop page. Only on single product pages.

Could you please check the loading time with default theme comparing to our WoodMart? Also, try to test your shop page with 12 products per page instead of 24.

I just installed a theme from the wordpress repository and the categories that have products with variations and those that do not include them load almost the same. Configured for 24 products too.

I have tried to disable the plugins that are not included in your template and there are no changes in loading times.

The problem is located in the categories with those variable products, the rest loads in an appropriate way.

Is there a user with the same problem?

It would be great if you tried to fix it in the next updates because loading time is an essential factor.

Off topic … for your next project you should try to integrate the AMP protocol in your template and adapt the design to this function. (All eBay mobile pages include it and it’s pure glory)

Please, contact your hosting providers and ask them for working FTP access that will not have any country restrictions. We can’t change this problem without that.

And we still need FTP access, not your hosting control panel. All you need to do is to contact your hosting provider and ask for the FTP access without country restriction.
