project types and project categories and portfolios?

hi

1) some i have a multisite. some sites have portfolios and some have prjects. see screenshots. portfolios have project types and projects have project categories. what is the difference?

2) and how do i enable projects instead of portfolios?

3) the portfolio pages doe not have page settings, see screenshot. how do i enable page settings for portfolio pages?

Make sure you have installed and activated all the required plugins in Appearance > Instal plugins

I do have all the plugins installed but the poet type is still not showing. What should I do?

Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme, and switch to the parent them if you are running the child one and provide your site admin access to the private area.
