Projects – adding an image gallery

Hello. If you remember from my last support request, I started with the Woodmart demo “Alternate Energy” because it resembled the look I want and it has Projects (on the portfolio page). My next issue as I am setting things up is that I need an image gallery on the projects, so the portfolio page will open the image when clicked will have lightbox support , so clicking an image in the project gallery page (portfolio) opens it in a lightbox and if there is more than one image associated to the project it allows the user to see each with the left/right arrow on the image. But I see no way to put more than one image on the projects for the listing page (portfolio). How can I do this?

WoodMart’s portfolio uses a custom “Projects” post type, where the listing page shows a single featured image per project by default. To enable a gallery with multiple images, lightbox popup, and navigation arrows on the single project page, edit each project and add a image gallery widget in each project, this allows adding extra images in the project page.

I do not think you understand. I want to be able to have multiple featured images so that this page: https://woodmart.xtemos.com/portfolio/demo/alternative-energy/
Can have 1 or more images that display in a lightbox when clicked. Ultimately I am not looking to have a single project page for the projects, just the display page (like portfolio) and a click to lightbox of the images.

By default, portfolio (Projects) supports only one featured image per project on the listing page. While you can add multiple images inside each project, the portfolio grid itself does not support displaying multiple images or opening a gallery lightbox directly from the listing. It requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.
