Yes, the banner is a complex element that is wrapped with <div> tag and not with <a>. And the <div> tag can’t have href attribute. That is why we used onclick JS there.

It is not a bug that could be fixed. If you need to display the <a> tag you need to use some other element like a button instead of a banner. But it is not necessary to do this. Just make sure that these links are also present in some other place on your website.
