Hi team, I’ve disabled the “Promo popup” in Theme Settings and set the related HTML Block (ID 724) to draft, but it still triggers on my homepage with the class .woodmart-open-newsletter. Could you please help me locate where this trigger is coming from?

Temporary Fix: To prevent it from disturbing my customers, I have temporarily set a very large number for the “Popup delay” (e.g., 200000000). Since I set a massive delay, you might not see the popup immediately when visiting the site.

Once you find the cause, could you please tell me exactly where the “ON/OFF” switch for this specific popup is located? I would like to know how to manage it properly in the future without using CSS or massive delays.

    Hi Support Team,

Thank you for your update, but unfortunately, the issue persists on my end. The Promo Popup (ID 724) is still appearing as before. I have already cleared my browser cache and tested it in Incognito/Private mode, but the popup still triggers after a few seconds.

Could you please double-check the following?

Cache: Have you cleared the server-side cache or the theme’s combined JS/CSS cache?

Trigger: The #popup-legacy code is still present in the HTML source. If you have “fixed” it, which setting did you change?

Specific Page: Please confirm you are testing on the Homepage.

Since I am still seeing the popup, could you please provide a screenshot or specific instructions on where you disabled it? This will help me verify if we are looking at the same setting.

I look forward to your further assistance.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site, and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and let me know, so I can check and give you a possible solution.

    Best Regards

    Hi Support Team,

I have already followed your instructions and deactivated all 3rd party plugins, leaving only the theme-required ones active. However, the issue persists. The Promo Popup (ID 724) is still being triggered by the .woodmart-open-newsletter selector.

Since this happens even without 3rd party plugins, it clearly indicates a theme-level setting or a script injection within Woodmart itself.

    Current Status of the Site:

I have kept the 3rd party plugins deactivated as you requested so you can investigate directly.

Please check why the #popup-legacy code is still being generated in the HTML source.

I suspect it is linked to a Newsletter element or a global setting that doesn’t honor the “OFF” switch in Theme Settings.

Please log in and find the root cause. I cannot leave the 3rd party plugins deactivated for long as the site needs to remain functional.

Looking forward to a real solution this time.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

Your issue has been resolved. There was an active preset on your site. I have edited the “Infinite scrolling” preset on your site and disabled the promo popup from theme settings.

    See Screenshot for clarification:https://postimg.cc/YhLP1yFD

Please check back your site and check the issue. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards

    Hi Support Team,

Thank you so much! The issue is finally resolved.

However, looking at the screenshot you provided, I noticed that your Theme Settings interface looks different from mine. Specifically, you have a “Inherit” option/switch that I cannot find in my own backend.

Could you please explain why our interfaces are different?

Is it because of the Woodmart version? (I am currently using the latest version).

Or is there a specific Required Plugin or Theme Feature that must be enabled to see that “Inherit” option/switch setting?

I want to make sure I can find this switch myself if I need to manage it in the future.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

The screenshot I sent shows the Theme Settings panel for a specific preset, not the global Theme Settings. The “Inherit” option you see is only available inside a preset configuration, which is why you may not find it in your general Theme Settings interface.

To access and manage this setting yourself, please follow our documentation on how presets work:https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/theme-settings-presets/

    Hi Support Team,

Thank you for the clear explanation regarding the Theme Settings Presets. I now understand why the interface looked different and where to find these settings in the future.

The popup issue is now fully resolved. I have also deleted the temporary admin account for security reasons.

Thank you again for your patience and professional support!
