Put a SVG image on the website

Hi,
I have made an SVG image of the payments image but having troubles placing them in the “retail footer”.
Non of them are working; when adding the svg with the promo banner item is not working, putting it there with the “image” option is not working.
The only element which was working is the “information box” is working when selecting the SVG.
Then the SVG image will show, but cannot manage to align it properly.
How to put the SVG (as a replacement for the payment.png) in the exact same spot with same dimensions?

Try to put it via Text block as a regular image. If it will not work, please, send us a link where we can see the problem.

You need to open your SVG icons file with some editor like Sublime Text or default system text editor and add height and width attributes to your <svg> tag like it is shown: http://prntscr.com/ks246m
Then you will need to re-upload your icons in WordPress Dashboard.
