Quantity not working from the product grid

    The quantity buttons in the product grid aren’t working properly. When the customer increases the quantity to more than 1 and then clicks “add to cart”, only 1 item is being added to the cart.

    If they go to the single product page and increase the amount there then click “add to cart”, it works just fine. They can also increase the quantity when they’re in the cart so it looks like the quantity buttons are broken only on the product grid page. Weirdly enough, it’s only broken on some of our products. Is this a bug and how can we fix it?

    Update: it looks like this is a bug dependent on the current cart status.

    If the cart is empty, increasing the quantity from the product grid and then clicking “add to cart” will only add 1 item to the cart. If the cart is not empty, increasing the quantity from the product grid and then clicking “add to cart” will add the correct number of items to the grid.

    This isn’t related to the product being added. We tested it by trying to add 2 of product A to an empty cart and only 1 was added. Then we went back to the product grid and again increased the quantity to 2 for product A and then clicked “add to cart” and now the cart has a total of 3 of product A: 1 from the first addition and 2 from the second addition.

    This must be a bug in the theme. Please help

    Thanks for reaching to us.

    You should deactivate all plugins (except WoodMart Core, Elementor and WooCommerce Plugins) and then reactivate them one by one. This makes it very easy to isolate the plugin causing problems.

    We deactivated all of the plugins except Elementor, WooCommerce, and WoodMart Core and the issue persists.

    Hi yasmeen,

    You should deactivate all plugins (except Required Plugins) and then reactivate them one by one. This makes it very easy to isolate the plugin causing problems or can make it works again, sometimes it caused by plugins conflict.

    Hello,

    It’s not working again. Tried deactivating plugins (doesn’t work when only Elementor, Woodmart, and WooCommerce are active) and reactivating them and it’s still not working.

    The problem caused by ‘Payment Plugins for PayPal WooCommerce‘ plugin. I deactivated and quantity worked again.

    Hi,

    Just tried it and it’s still not working even with that plugin deactivated. The problem is the quantity is not working when the cart is empty. If there is nothing in the cart and you try to add 2+ of a product from the shop page, it only adds 1.

    Hi,

    Seems to be working for now. Can you please let us know how you fixed it? We’d like to be able to fix it ourselves if it happens in the future. Did you have to modify any code?
