ivoltbgParticipantHello,
Where can I see what changes or improvements have been made in a new update of your theme that appears in the WordPress Updates section? I’m asking because you make amazing improvements and bug fixes, and I’d like to review the details each time something new is released.
Best regards,
NikolaOctober 16, 2025 at 4:07 pm #691339

ivoltbgParticipantThank you for the information. Could you please explain what the difference is between the updates and the patches in the “Patcher” section?
Isn’t the update supposed to be the main one, and shouldn’t the main update include all the patches as well?
Currently, I’m on WoodMart 8.3.3, but when I opened the Patcher, there were many changes that I had to apply manually.
Could you please explain why this is the case?

Artem TemosKeymasterHi Nikola,
Here’s the difference:
– Theme updates: full releases you install via Dashboard > Updates or Appearance > Themes. They include new features, improvements, and all patches released before that version.
– Patches (Patcher): small, targeted fixes we publish between releases. They update only specific files and are shown in Dashboard > WoodMart > Patcher. They are optional—apply only the ones that address an issue you experience. Why you still see many patches on 8.3.3:
– Those patches were released after 8.3.3 or cover edge cases that may not affect your site. They will be bundled into the next theme update and then disappear from the Patcher once you update to that new version.
– You can ignore patches that don’t relate to your site; applying them is not mandatory.Notes:
– When you update the theme to the next version, any applied patches are automatically replaced by the updated theme files—no extra action is needed.
– If you are unsure about a specific patch, share its ID and we will advise whether you need it.Kind Regards
