The plug in developer told me this:
Regarding the swatches, It seems your theme uses its own swatches which are not loaded by Quickview window. Could you please ask your theme author for the scripts and CSS needed to enable the swatches?

To make our swatches look nice and apply all CSS styles they must be inside some tag with the following CSS class single-product-content. Just add it to your quick view popup and they will look fine.
As for JS so you can find their functionality in the file js/functions.js. Function is called swatchesVariations
