Random categories disappearing when selecting archive page category widget

When selecting categories in my acrhive page category filter widget, random categories seem to disappear.
This is not happening on my other Woodmart sites.

Ps. another thing, how can i hide the ‘unassigned’ category in this widget?

Please navigate to Appearance -> Widgets -> in the “Shop page Widget area” for the filters set the “OR” query type.

Hi there, the problem is fixed. It was a bug which caused parent categories have 0 products, while their child categories had products in them. solved it by adding and then deleting a product from the parent categorie.
One more thing, how can I exclude the ‘Unassigned’ category from my side bar category filter widget?

Great, we are glad that you sorted it out. Unfortunately, you can’t exclude this category. Instead, you need to rename it to one of your store’s categories and use it as well as any other.
