sonkan.inParticipantHello Woodmart Support Team,
We are facing an issue with our website’s checkout process. Earlier, the Razorpay payment gateway page used to open normally after clicking the “Place Order” button, but now it’s not triggering at all.
We believe this issue may be caused by a conflict with the Woodmart theme or one of its scripts blocking the Razorpay payment script. (This “Palace Order” button works properly in the Developer Mode. But as a User, it does not open the Razorpay page but again comes back to the same page as “order details’)….
Request please check this issue and help us resolve it at the earliest. We think this may have to do with some WoodMart Update that we did yesterday. Or due to a conflict with the Woodmart theme or one of its scripts blocking the Razorpay payment script.
Website link given in private content….
Thank you for your assistance.November 6, 2025 at 1:29 pm #694608
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please make a full backup of your site and check the issue on the Storefront theme and send us the screen on how it should be on the default theme. Please insert the site admin access into the Private content below the message area.
Best Regards,

sonkan.inParticipantDo we create a staging site? Or is there another better method to take a backup?

sonkan.inParticipantIncidently, the Razorpay interface is working on Developer Mode. i.e. on clicking Place Order, it goes to Razorpay page
But users are able to go to razorpay page on clicking Place Order Button. Request check. We feel that the recent update on WP Bakery / woodmart may be affecting this…November 6, 2025 at 1:54 pm #694614

sonkan.inParticipantWe are facing an issue with our checkout process. When we enable developer mode and place an order, the Razorpay payment popup opens correctly, and the payment goes through successfully.
However, when a regular customer (in normal mode) clicks the “Place Order” button, the Razorpay payment page does not trigger at all. The order just stops there without loading the Razorpay checkout popup.
It seems that something in the live or optimized mode (possibly a script, cache, or JS optimization from the theme or hosting) is blocking the Razorpay checkout.js script.
Please help us identify and fix this issue so that the Razorpay payment popup works for all customers in normal mode as well.

sonkan.inParticipantWe restored the backup of 4th November and the issue is resolved….
Request check if any WPBakery or Woodmart or Woocommerce or WordPress update is affecting the Razorpay integration…

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Yes, creating a staging site is the best and safest option — it allows us to test without affecting your live store. Most hosting providers offer a one-click staging feature.
The article below will help you to create it: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/
Once you’ve set up the staging site, please switch to the Storefront theme there and check if the issue persists.
If the issue is only with the Woodmart theme, please deactivate the plugins not related to theme and check how it works.
Best Regards,
