Re: WP Bakery Page Builder and JS_Composer, HTTPS Issues, Slow Loading Too

Hi,

I have been facing a problem since I installed the newest version of the theme just this week.

I kept seeing https on our URL in despite that we do not installed any SSL for our site. We seek our hosting to help us find the issue and I was told that the issue has something to do with the theme itself via JS_COMPOSER.

With this issue, most pages of the site do not show up any longer (empty/blank page) even after several refresh. If we disable the WPBakery, it loads well except that pages doesnt look right.

The hosting said we need to coordinate with you to have the theme fixed as well as the WPBakery for forcing the URL to show HTTPS.

I placed the hosting info in Private Content, this is the only info I have to access the hosting account.

Please help us with this. thank you in advance. For your reference, I attached the conversation I had with the Hosting, please read through it as well, starting below:

1. I am seeing https in URL under http://www.muradeal.com

2. most links does show blank and it does not load here is example: https://www.muradeal.com/index.php/supplements/ and

Edward, I could see that SSL is not installed for the domain http://www.absolutehealthcentre.com, the SSL is installed only for the domain absolutehealthcentre.com.

I have checked the website and it seems to be the issue with the plugin js_composer, you will have to disable the plugin and try to access the website.

all I have here are: CMB2, Duplicate Page, Google XML Sitemanps, Redux Framework, Slider Revolution, WC Vendors, WooCommerce, Woodmart Core, Wordfence, WP Super Cache, WPBakery Page, WPForms Lite, Yith Woocommerce Compare, Yith WooCommerce Wishlist and Yoast SEO only.

I have disabled the plugins, and the issue is with the plugins and the themes.

You will have to update the plugins and the themes.

Please disable all the plugins and then try to enable the plugins one by one to know the issue causing plugin.

Where exactly should we check this problem on your website? Your home page seems to be loading correctly.

1. From any of the page, you can see the https on its URL. Our site does not have SSL and when we spoke to the Hosting, we were told that the WPBakery is forcing the website and its pages to show up https (WITH AN “S”) on it, keep in mind that THE SITE DO NOT HAVE SSL. this is another reason as well that the site is taking toooooooo long to load up.

2. JS_Composer and Shortcodes.php keeps on causing the site to not load often times. It doesnt work well at all times.

1. We tested your website and walked through the pages but HTTPS doesn’t appear. It is always loaded with HTTP and our theme doesn’t influence this functionality at all.

As for the page loading, could you please check how it loads with default WordPress theme? If it doesn’t work correctly only when our theme is activated, please, disable all external plugins and provide us your admin access (not Hostgator access) so we can troubleshoot it.

2. This error says about lack of memory limit on your server. Contact your host to increase this parameter and resolve the issue.
