Read more button for text Not working

I added a “Read More” button for my text, but it is not working.
When I click, nothing expands or shows.

Hello,
I solved my collapsible content issue, but now I want to add an extra function.
When the collapsible content is displayed, I want the button text to change to something like “Show Less”. When the content is hidden again, the button text should change back to “Read More”.
What’s the best way to achieve this with a simple script? I’m working inside WordPress/Elementor.
