— Read More — isn’t working for me in Product Category Descriptions

I have tried every which way to make this work with no luck. I am trying to add the Read More tag to one of my product category descriptions, and it just does nothing. I check the front end, I disable everything, etc. Still not working.

It is not working on the front-end at all. It shows nothing.

Is it supposed to work on product category page descriptions?
