Receiving Syntax Error on checkout

When a customer places an order on my website, they receive this error:

SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0

This error is causing them to hit submit multiple times and woocommerce ends up processing the order multiple times. See screenshot. Please help!

Hi,

Could you please try to switch to default theme to see is this our theme issue or not? Probably, it is caused by some of the additional plugins installed.
