Recently viewed product variation cannot be shown as single product

Hi,
I use gutenburg to build my single product template, and added recently viewed products block at the buttom, but unlike related products block. Recently viewed products cannot be shown as single product even after I enabled the theme feature: ” show variations as product” , attached is the screeshot.
Can you tell me how I can fix it?

As we can see, it now works as expected. But note that it will always display parent products there. It will not split them into single variation products as it works on the shop archive.
