Recently viewed products configured but not appearing

Hello from Croatia again!

Whats the problem?
I have created custom single product template, added elementor widget Products (grid or carousel), configured it to show recently viewed products, but no products show after a lot of browsing.

My setup?
Latest version of wordpress, woocommerce, woodmart theme and woodmart core plugin.
I am using woodmart child theme.
Server is 1gb ram, rocket.net. PHP version I tried 7.4, 8.0 and 8.1.

What have I tried so far?
– deactivating all plugins except woodmart core, woocommerce and elementor
– creating new product
– clearing all cache multiple times
– using chrome, edge and firefox browsers on windows 11
– reseting all woodmart theme settings
– turning on theme option in Performance > Advanced > Scripts always load – Recently Viewed Products

This option is based on the default Woocomemrce widget. We have tested it and see that it does not work in the widget area either.

We admit this is a temporary Woocommerce bug.

So is “Recently viewed products” broken for everyone or just me?
And please provide atleast temporary solution to bypass this temporary issue.

Yes, that is correct.

Please make the full backup of your site and check the issue on the Storefront theme to detect if our theme causes the problem.

Recently viewed products are not appearing even after switching theme to Storefront and deactivating all plugins except Woocommerce.
I understand now this issue isn’t related to your theme, but would still greatly appreciate if you shared any information you might have that could help me resolve this.

Woocommerce has a bag with recently viewed products and our theme does not influence that. We would recommend not using the widget.
