Redux and CMb2 Update Issue

HI – I have just updated the theme ad then deleted both plugins. now my footers have all changed – is this normal with an update? my pre-fotter had changed ID for example and the colour scheme has gone

also my colour schemes and fonts have all changed

ACtually I dont know why this has happened – i use child theme so why would my settings have changed, my fonts, colour, html block references etc? is this one off because parent theme has plugins redux framewrok and CMB2 deleted? I thought a child theme was meant to keep these settings when you update parent theme?

Actually, the update shouldn’t break any content in Theme Settings. Try to resave Theme Settings. Maybe you have deleted these plugins before the update. They should be removed in the order described in our migration tutorial https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/3-x-4-0-migration-guide/

yes, i followed exactly. I updated and activated child theme again, after the update then deleted the plugins and all my settings have gone including my vaigation structure, product attributes etc

Sorry, but it can’t be related to our theme update at all. Try to restore the backup and we will update the update for you. It has no connection to any structures and product attributes.

how will i do this to give you access?

when i installed new update i did it through cpanel. Just now, i went to my cpanel and restored website from 2 days ago. Then in themes, it said update Woodmart theme on wordpress site which it didnt before. i pressed update through wordpress and it seems to have updated parent theme to 4.0 and kept my changes. Can you still go in and make sure is ok please

Just check if all the settings remain. If not, please, restore a backup and send us your admin and FTP access. Also, specify what data erased.

it seems ok. i restored on cpanel then updated theme through appearance/themes on wordpress, not through cpanel and have deactivate redux and CMB2 and it seems ok. i gues sit is now safe to delete these plugins
