Remove Lightbox

I am integrating an external lightbox plugin that is conflicting with the lightbox within the theme…

How can I completely remove the lightbox from the theme so that my plugin can function correctly?

We are glad to know that you considered using Basel for your web-site. I hope you will be happy with it.

Unfortunately, there is no option to disable lightbox from the theme completely. It will require a lot of customization to remove all JS and CSS code for that.

Which files do I need to strip out the lightbox stuff so my plugin can work?

I love the theme, removing the lightbox would be amazing and fit perfectly.

Sorry, but there is no isolated files that you can simply strip to remove it. We don’t have a quick tutorial to remove this code from our theme.

Can you confirm is it ‘photoswipe’ that is used to embed the lightbox into the theme?
If so then at least I know what I am looking for throughout the code to then further remove.

Or if there is any other libraries etc can you please confirm….

Yes, we use photoswipe library for all our popups and lightbox.
