Remove products from cart widget

Hello,

We have a bit of an issue with our e-commerce website right now: Trying to remove products from any cart widgets (hidden sidebar, dropdown) results in the endless spinning of the loading icon, but no actual removal from cart. Customers have to go to the cart page and remove products from here.

I cannot see any errors from the console and thus cannot find what is causing the issue. What I know is we started noticing the issue after the 5.2.0 update.

Would you please be able to point me at what could cause this? The only way to avoid it at this stage is to remove the widget altogether.

Thank you so much for contacting our support center.

Be sure that you have enabled AJAX add to cart on the shop page in WooCommerce settings. This option may affect removing from the cart feature as well.

Thanks for your swift reply.

This option has always been active, since we first installed the theme. As a matter of fact, all AJAX options are switched on right now. Adding products to cart using AJAX works fine. But not their removal from the widget specifically.

I see. I thought that product categories or product pages were not considered as archives.

After enabling it, product removal works as intended. Thank you very much for your help!
