Removing empty categories

Can you help me remove empty categories and tell me how to enable images on those categories. The print screen is in the attachment.

Navigate to Layouts > Edit Product Archive Layout > Edit Product Categories Widge and enable the option “Hide Empty”.

Navigate to Products > Categories > Edit Category and upload Thumbnail image.

I didn’t set up custom layout for this category.
