Replace search plugin

Hello,

The product search being quite slow for me for many different reasons. Is there a way to keep the Basel search layout as it’s quite nice, and use another search plugin instead to power it?

See link (in private) of my staging website where you can compare the speeds of Basel search and the other plugin. I can use a shortcode to replace the search engine behind the layout if that’s possible

The search is the Woocommerce functionality and it cannot be replaced with any plugins. Most likely, your search is slow due to the content you have added to your website. It may happen in case of too many plugins, large not optimized images or other resources. So we suggest you to remove unnecessary plugins, install some kind of JS & CSS optimizing plugins like Better WordPress Minify and a caching plugin like WP Super Cache. Also, you can use GTmetrix tool to see what makes your website slow and optimize these parts of your website.

I’m already doing everything you’re saying. Using another search plugin is so much quicker though so I’ll have to disable your search box and use another one if I can’t use another shortcode to power your search box.
