lakuzowebParticipantHi,
I’m hitting a rendering bug with the product hover on WooCommerce archive (shop / category) pages.
Key symptom (most important):
On the FIRST hover over a product, the sliding hover block (short description + Add to cart / wishlist / search) appears WITHOUT the white card background and shadow, and overflows on top of the product in the row below. Hovering the SAME product a SECOND time renders it correctly — the white background extends and covers the content as expected. This “first hover broken / second hover fine on the same product” pattern suggests the expanded hover height/background is being finalized via JS reflow or dynamic CSS after the first hover, rather than on the initial hover itself.
Setup:
– Product hover type: [что выбрано в Theme Settings → Shop → Product hover]
– Products have multi-line Russian short descriptions (3–4 lines)Expected:
On first hover, the card expands with a white background + shadow that covers the description and buttons, without overlapping the product below.Actual:
First hover shows the content transparent and overflowing onto the next product; second hover on the same product is correct.Questions:
1. Is this a known issue with this hover type?
2. Is there a proper setting or patch to fix it instead of a custom-CSS workaround? I’d prefer an update-proof solution.Screenshots of both states (first hover vs. second hover) attached.
Thanks.

July 8, 2026 at 10:05 am #723232Hello,
We have checked this issue and it has already been fixed in the latest theme updates. The behavior you described could be reproduced in older versions of the theme when using newer versions of Chrome, but the fix has been included in WoodMart v8.5.5.
Please update the theme (8.5.5) and the WoodMart Core plugin to the latest available version and then check the issue again.
Best Regards
