francois.krikorianParticipantHello,
Do you guys have any docs on the search by SKU as to how does the index work?
I recently activated the search by SKU feature on my website, but, for some reason, AJAX search does not always return a product. I am testing all SKUs one by one to check and for some reason some of them. As you can see on the pictures below.
I recently updated ALL sku’s with a plugin to make it more consistant ? Can it be it ? Why some of them are working and some are not ? They can be simple product or variable products.
Also, I already deactivated ALL plugins except Woo and Woodmart.
Is there an index being populated ? (its been several hours already, out of 1700 products)
Kind regards.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Please disable any plugins not directly related to our theme and provide us with your admin access details. We will log in to your dashboard and investigate the issue. Please ensure that you only keep the following plugins that are necessary for our theme to work correctly:
– WoodMart core
– WooCommerce
– Elementor/WPBakery Page BuilderThank you in advance.

francois.krikorianParticipantHello,
The only possible way is to give me the exact time you guys want to get it. It’s a live site, I don’t have a mirror of it. What timezone are you guys on?
Kind regards;

Artem TemosKeymasterI will be online for the next 3 hours and will be able to check the issue quickly.

francois.krikorianParticipantHello,
I do believe it’s going to be difficult to be on time together, if it is a quick check up, a couple of hours, you can go head and deactivate as you wish.
Kind regards.

Artem TemosKeymasterIn this case, you need to create a staging development copy of your website. There, you will be able to do such kind of experiments without any harm to your production website.
Kind Regards

francois.krikorianParticipantI cannot put a staging site and replicate the issue. I really see no way you guys can harm the website. Worst-case scenario, you delete the whole website and I get a backup running in half an hour.
Or you can tell me what you are searching for and I can look into it?

Artem TemosKeymasterSearch by SKU is a WooCommerce function but we implemented it on frontend. Could you please test how it works on the backend? Try to search some products in Dashboard -> Products and see if it works.

francois.krikorianParticipantHello,
Found the fix, I had to update the Woocommerce Lookup Table.
Thanks for your time.
