Search by SKU not propperly working

    We have activated Search by SKU. It only search the SKU of the Parent Item which is shown on the Product Grid. But I cannot search for the SKUs of the children.

    Why is that not working?

    Hello,

    Do you mean the Grouped product? Does it work properly with variable and simple products? Please provide a product URL which is not found.

    It is not working for Variable Products!
    I send you some Screenshots you can check these ItemSKU. It does not find the Children SKU of the Items only the Parent SKU is found.

    Hello,

    I have tried to find this SKU: https://prnt.sc/ti5cc2 when I inserted the SKU I got to the product page and I have checked and see that SKU search works https://prnt.sc/ti5cwo

    Please provide a few SKU which are not found and product pages as well for these SKUs.

    I already told you Parent SKU is found like in your Example what about the Child of this Item?

    Check this item No. why it is not found ?

    Hello,

    Now I see you mean SKU for each variation, you are right. This option is not available. The SKU search catches only the main product.

    Does it mean it does not work for the Variable Products ?
    Only cath the Main Item doenst make send on Variable Products.

    Is there any Solution for that ?

    Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme or confirm the permit to deactivate the plugins please keep the provided credentials valid.

    Hi,

    I already installed Relevanssi Plugin with which it works and the SKU is propperly found.

    It would be good if you can write on the Themes Settings that your SKU Search only works for the Simple Product and not for Variable Products.

    I guess others will have same Issue.
