Search function

Hi there,

I have finally moved our webstore over to WoodMart after 12 months of testing but on our ‘now live’ website when I search products, some words I search for and hit enter, instead of it bringing up the products I get this error:

Server Error
403
Forbidden
You do not have permission to access this document.

If you type ‘toe’ you get many related products fine but if you type ‘sun’ you get the 403 error. I have researched the issue as much as I can and removed a fair few old conflicting plugins but could really do with some help now.

Any help will be hugely appreciated.

To better assist you, could you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.

It does work with 2025 theme.

I did actually test it on a clone of live but when I reverted back to woodmart the error did indeed come back.

Please disable any plugins not directly related to our theme and provide us with your admin access details. We will log in to your dashboard and investigate the issue. Please ensure that you only keep the following plugins that are necessary for our theme to work correctly:
– WoodMart core
– WooCommerce
– Elementor/WPBakery Page Builder

Hi there,

I admit, although I have removed quite a few plugins that I did not need, I still have plugins that I don’t think I need.
Please please tell me if you see anything pointless that I should delete.
I know you asked me to deactivate everything not from WoodMart but I am a little scared to do that.
Could you have a look where I am today?

Please keep all plugins not related to our theme temporarily turned off. Also, allow us to switch between themes to see the difference.

Hi there,

I made a clone and deactivated all the non WoodMart plugins and yes the problem has gone.
I will just reactivate one at a time and work out which one it is.

I have deleted that plugin from LIVE and the problem has gone.
