I am trying to get category search working on my site: Right now if I search for dining tables, even though Dining tables is a category, nothing shows up. I have installed Relevansii but not sure how can I get categories to show up.
To assist you in the best possible manner, I kindly ask that you please provide me temporary wp-admin info (wp-admin URL, username, password) and screenshots that illustrate the problem to the Private Content area, this will allow me to thoroughly investigate and address your concerns more efficiently.
Navigate to Settings > Relevanssi > Indexing tab > Select the post types and Taxonomies > Click on Save the options and then Build the index buttons > Clear cache and check again.
Did exactly as shown in the screenshot: Only checked the 3 boxes in Post Type (post, page & product) and left all boxes unchecked in Taxonomies. And then saved and built the index. Not working.
(Unless you meant check ALL the boxes in Post Type and Taxonomies?? Please show me a screenshot of the boxes I need to have clicked before I save+build index). Thank you. Alternatively, you have the login, you can directly select what you think needs to be selected.
