Search icon in Mobile header

I have added Search icon in mobile header. When I click the search icon, it opens the sidebar menu instead of showing search bar. How to fix that?
Hello,
It is the default behavior of the search button on mobile that it opens the sidebar menu.
Therefore to display the search form enable the search for the mobile menu from WoodMart >> Header Builder >> Edit Header >> Mobile header edit mobile menu and enable the option.

But search form will show the search bar in the mobile header and consume space that is required to show the logo. Why not to click the search icon and show sliding search bar?

Sorry but this is the default behaviour of the search for mobile. And there is no option in Theme Settings that you can display as slide as you mentioned.
