Search Indexing

Hi. My search box also indexing the Content of each products. How can I exclude the content indexing and use Tile Indexing when searching a product? Thanks

Your products in the ajax search displaying the products name and their price and SKU which is just normal as expected and did not display any other extra content.

Which content you want to exclude? Could you please share some screenshots by pointing out those sections so I can help you out.

So when I’m trying to search for example the word “Gypsum” the search result are also indexing the short and long description. So when I search “Gypsum”, the product title with the word “Gypsum” will appear and and also the products with the word gypsum on the long and short description will appear too. All i want to do is to Index the title without indexing its description.

Note: The Blue Box are the products with the word “Gypsum” on the title. The Red Box are the products with the word “Gypsum” on the Long and Short description. The second image is the sample of the products description with the word gypsum.

I got your point that when someone search some product name then in result even those products are shown which have that word in their description not in the product name.

Actually the search is in the WooCommerce functionality and it finds the keyword both in a title and in the description.

You can check the WooCommerce search while using default WordPress theme and our search form is the same search form but just powered with AJAX functionality. So the theme doesn’t influence the search algorithm.
