Search tool in header – Category list

Hi,
I like very much the search tool.
In particular I like that there’s also the category list in the search form to place in the header.
But I also like the minimal style with the ‘lens’ icon only.
Now, I can choose (please refer to attached screenshot) between these option to show search tool:
– Full-screen
– Full screen 2
– Dropdown
– Form
I would like to have the ‘full screen’ style, that is a minimal icon in the harder that opens a full screen search form.
But if i chose this option there’s no ‘category selector’ (don’t know how), infact the option ‘Show product category drop down is missing.category’.
The only way to have the product category selector is to use the ‘form’ option. But the ‘form’ option show the form already in the header banner, and it keeps to much space.
I’m wondering why or how to show the ‘category selector in the full screen modality. It’s very strange it’s not provided. Is there any workaround or code modify I can do?

I ask so also because, my clients often search for Category Name, but if they search with the name field they don’t get it but just a no-product found. So category should be necessary.

Hello,
This is the way it works, Unfortunately there are no options in theme settings to change this as you want. It requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.
