Section overlap on landing page

Hi, I’m running into an issue of sections overlapping. As seen on the attached screen, the block right under the full width email sign up has part of its top overlapping, eating into the white space.
What can I do to fix this? If I use the minimum height bar, it also increases the distance on the bottom, which I don’t wish to do.

Also, there are faint lines running through the page for some reason. How can I get rid of that?
