PeterParticipantHi,
I have a questions about the SEO on your demo websites. I saw there’s are many H1 tag for the home page, like below:
<h1 style=”margin-bottom: 0px; text-align: center;”>HEY YOU, SIGN UP AND</h1>
<h1 style=”text-align: center;”>CONNECT TO<span style=”color: #0f8a7e;”> BASEL & CO.</span></h1>Should it keep only one H1 for one page? I am confused.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you for noticing us about the issue.
Yes, we should change this markup and leave only H1 once on our home page. Anyway, you are able to set your own headings tags on your website and you are not forced to use H1 only.
Kind Regards

PeterParticipantsorry, How am I supposed to change the H tag for “Section Title”?*

PeterParticipantAnother question, where can I change the font size for H1, H2, H3?
December 8, 2016 at 7:26 pm #7769
Artem TemosKeymasterHi,
But our Section title element doesn’t use H1 tag at all. You can change font size of heading tags easily putting this code snippet to the Custom CSS in Theme Settings
h1 {font-size:58px;} h2 {font-size:48px;} h3 {font-size:38px;}

PeterParticipantHow can I change the H tage for the Section title element? I am dsappointed with this theme. Bad for SEO.
December 8, 2016 at 7:51 pm #7772
Artem TemosKeymasterLet’s try to clarify all problems one by one.
1. Our section title doesn’t have H1 tag. Do you want to add it there?
If you want to place H1 tag on your page you can use “Custom heading” element and add any tag you want there.2. What exactly is bad for SEO? Our theme is well-optimized and actually, you have full control of any elements on the page.
Please, write us about all problems so we could help you ASAP and fix in our theme if needed. We are absolutely sure that you will be satisfied using our theme.
Kind Regards

PeterParticipantyes, I wanted to add the H tag in section title. If no H tag for the section title, what’s the point of it? How does the website make good SEO?
December 9, 2016 at 9:30 am #7782
Artem TemosKeymasterSection title can be used multiple times per page to separate some sections of the page like products, blog or any other information. If we put H1 tag there it would be a problem. Anyway, we will think about this improvements and maybe introduce an option to add some heading tag to this element so a user can decide which one to use there. At the moment you can easily add H tag with “Custom Heading” Visual Composer element. Did you try it?
Our theme keeps all the requirements to make your website good for SEO: valid HTML markup, headings, ALT & TITLE attributes for images, Schema.org integrated and of course compatible with all popular SEO plugins like YOAST. If you have any additional notes to our theme SEO integration we would be glad to hear them.
Kind Regards

PeterParticipantThank you, Xtemos team! You guyes are awesome!
Another question:so if I use section titles multiple times, it will be still SEO friendly? No need to set them like H2 or H3?
Thanks,
PeterDecember 9, 2016 at 9:48 pm #7805
Artem TemosKeymasterYes, it is still SEO friendly and if you need you can separately add H2 and H3 with Custom Headings. But, we are not SEO company and can’t give you advice regarding SEO for your website since it may depend on a lot of various things. You would better hire some SEO specialist to get more professional advice.
Kind Regards
