SEO: Problem with labels in link-tags

Hi,

in my SEO tool I have many warnings regarding duplicate link text. When a product is discounted (in our shop are many products discounted) the sales labels (eg. “15%”) are within the link tag causing the duplicate link texts.

There is an easy solution: just put the labels outside of the link tag. I tested it and everything seems to work without problems but solving the issue regarding SEO.

Could you please change that html or provide another solution?

This is WooCommerce default mark-up. You can remove the link in woodmart/woocommerce/content-product-quick.php

Thank you for your reply. As I wrote I know the solution and tested it successfully. What I’m asking for is to implement the solution into the core- Maybe I should have posted this into the Feature Request Thread. I’ll do that!

But we can’t do this since it needs to override standard WooCommerce templates. You need to contact plugin’s developers with this feature request.
