mbanat18ParticipantHi Dear,
Kindly i need your support to fix the issues of speed in my website ,
as you see https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.afkarstore.com/6EWeQU0b
i have so many comments related to the pictures and othersso i contacted the plugin of compressing the pictures , and this is their reply
”
Hummingbird and GTMetrix has two reports for image optimization.
1. Losslessly compressing – This one’s is telling that image can be optimized, that’s what smushing takes care of and there are no such reports on your site.
2. Compressing and resizing – This tells us that image is larger than its actual HTML holder.
The second one is what’s shown in your results and that’s because your theme is loading images larger than it’s HTML holder, for example https://687622.smush…lossy=1&strip=0&webp=1 is a 300×300 image loaded but the actual HTML holder of that image is only 192×192 so the image is resized with CSS to fit in that holder.
Unfortunately this is not Hummingbird or GTMetrix can deal with since your theme or slider code is written in the way to call the larger image, and even though the image is compressed Hummingbird doesn’t like loading image larger than its holder.
In such cases I recommend two solution but non of this will work here – because your theme or those sliders call larger images.
Only way is to speak with theme or plugin author to change image thumbnail or reduce those products in sliders. You call many images on front page, that is why (also) site is bigger and load slower”so , your are kindly requested to support me and to fix these issues of speed for me . i am expecting huge support from you, because i do not have visits in the website and this is related to the site efficiency…
please fix any issues in https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.afkarstore.com/6EWeQU0b
thanks

Artem TemosKeymasterHi,
Our theme doesn’t influence image sizes at all. Product images can be configured via Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> WooCommerce -> Product images and images for posts via Dashboard -> Settings -> Media.
Please, send us a screenshot example of the image that is loaded in a large size and we will check it and write you a place where you are able to change its size.
Regards

and found the the images that are loaded on the page are bigger than the HTML holder in which they are loaded.

This issue cannot be fixed by Hummingbird as these images are called in a bigger size in the codeyou can show this screenshot to the developer so that he understands what is going on and assist you to fix this issue

mbanat18Participantalso you can see the exact pictures
here https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.afkarstore.com/MTViiQS5December 24, 2018 at 7:08 am #98077
Artem TemosKeymasterIf you are talking about the slider images so they are not resized by our theme and handled by the Revolution slider plugin. You can configure it and resize or upload correct images in Dashboard -> Revolution slider.
But most of the images in the report are related to products and you can decrease their size in Appearance -> Customize -> WooCommerce -> Product images.December 24, 2018 at 7:18 am #98079
mbanat18Participantplease give me example about fixing the issue of products images
with pictures or video , so i will do the same for all the other picturesDecember 24, 2018 at 7:19 am #98080
Artem TemosKeymasterJust go to Appearance -> Customize -> WooCommerce -> Product images and specify the images size globally. Set 175px width for example as you use small images on the home page.

mbanat18Participanti did this
still its showing the same comments
for example
https://687622.smushcdn.com/1055408/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/HTB1QL8uxkKWBuNjy1zjq6AOypXaP-300×300.jpg?lossy=1&strip=0&webp=1 is resized in HTML or CSS from 300×300 to 65×65. Serving a scaled image could save 21.1KiB (95% reduction).December 24, 2018 at 7:37 am #98085
Artem TemosKeymasterThis image is a part of the products widget element in the menu. Find this widget in your HTML Blocks and specify
65x65
size for its images https://gyazo.com/ed36312e3f9202f0d527f1366c2bddc3December 24, 2018 at 7:46 am #98088

Artem TemosKeymasterThis should be fixed from the server side where these resources are stored on. Our theme doesn’t influence it.

Artem TemosKeymasterYou need to find where is this image is used on your website and replace with a correct one. Sorry, but we don’t know where you use it.

mbanat18Participanti need to re-upload that picture, i think the picture from the theme
please check if its available so i can re-upload itDecember 24, 2018 at 12:21 pm #98148
Artem TemosKeymasterThis picture is not from our theme since it is located in your uploads folder. So it was uploaded somewhere to your products or posts.
