reneersloanParticipantHello WoodMart Support Team,
I am writing to report a serious styling and layout problem with the shop sidebar on my website, which makes it unusable.
When I view any shop or category page (for example, the “Kalimbas” page) on a desktop browser, the following critical issues occur:
A semi-transparent black layer covers the entire sidebar, making the text and widgets inside very difficult to read.
The sidebar is positioned incorrectly behind the main header, which cuts off the top portion of the sidebar.
I have attached a screenshot that clearly shows these problems. To help you investigate, I have created a temporary admin login and will provide the credentials in the private data section of this ticket.
This is a major issue preventing customers from using the shop filters. Could you please investigate and provide a solution?
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards,

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please try to activate the parent theme on your site and check if the issue persists. This may help resolve the issue you’re encountering.

reneersloanParticipantHello Aizaz,
Thank you for your suggestion.
I have switched to the parent WoodMart theme as you recommended, but unfortunately, the issue with the shop sidebar persists exactly as described in my original ticket (the semi-transparent black layer and incorrect positioning behind the header are still there).
To further troubleshoot, I have also performed these additional steps:
1. I deactivated ALL plugins on the site.
2. I completely reinstalled the WoodMart theme files.
3. I have cleared all server-side and browser caches.Even after all these actions, the problem has not been resolved. This indicates the issue is likely more complex than a standard plugin or child theme conflict.
I have created a new temporary admin login for you to investigate this directly. I will post the new credentials in the private content area below.
Could you please take a look and help me identify the cause? Your expertise would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I checked your site and found that the issue with the shop sidebar is being caused by custom CSS added in Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS. Please try to remove this code and check how it works.
