set up Sub categories

hi, I want to set up search by material and search by color
also in the category there is sub category under main category for example , search by material and then there is crystal , how do I do that ? thanks

To set up “Search by Material” and “Search by Color,” go to Products > Attributes, create the attributes (e.g., Material, Color), add terms, and assign them to your products. Then, use the “Woodmart WooCommerce layered nav” widget to enable filtering on the shop page.

For the categories, Go to Products > Categories and create a parent category (Material) and then add subcategories under it (Crystal).

if white crystal belongs are subcategories of white and crystal , what should I do ?

Assign “White” as the Color attribute and “Crystal” as the Material attribute to the product. No need to create a combined subcategory—filters will handle it separately.

Navigate to Products > Attributes and create attributes like Material and Color. Add terms under each (under Material: Crystal; under Color: White).
