Setting the filtering widget to a sidebar on the left

Hi, is it possible to place the shop filter to the left hand sidebar instead of top? I can’t seem to figure out how.

Sure, you need to disable the top filters in the Theme Settings > Product Archives > Shop filters.

Then enable the sidebar for the shop page, just edit the shop page and you will find the option and add widgets to the Shop page widget area in Appearance > Widgets.
