    Hello,
I configured woodmart theme using a staging domain on a staging server, then moved to production server and everything was smooth.

I downloaded a SQL dump, replaced references from the old staging domain to the new production domain, imported the modified dump but all settings have been lost.

How can I restore my custom settings?

    Hello,

Our Theme has an option that you can import/export the theme options.

Please export the Theme Options from the staging site and try importing to the live site.

Exporting / importing worked but footer hasn’t been restored.

Anyway I’d like to understand what caused a complete reset of theme settings.

    Hello,

Sorry, but we could not let you know how the settings are because the import/export database is WordPress functionality our theme doesn’t influence.

You can read the following article for help:

    Best Regards.

    Many thanks,
that’s the answer to my question.

I inspected everything related to Woodmart theme but I couldn’t find the cause. This odd behaviour is caused by WordPress itself.
