I have created a layout for the attribute archive pages and added the “Social Networks” element in the header to share this type of page. I am using Rank Math, which I don’t think is influencing this problem as I have disabled it completely and the same thing is still happening.
The problem is that when going to an attribute term page in the frontend, one of two happens:
CASE 1- If the term is empty (no product associated with that term), when clicking one of the share page buttons it returns an empty url, so it gives error.
CASE 2- If the term has a product associated with it, clicking on a share button returns a url, but the url of the first product that appears on the page, instead of the url of that attribute term.
On category archive pages or single product pages, where I have also used this wpbakery element ‘Social Networks’, in a custom layout, this problem does not happen.
