Hi, thank you for contacting us.
When shop dropdown links start going to error pages, it’s usually due to permalink or menu targets pointing to pages/categories that no longer exist or whose URL base changed. Please try:
1) Re-save permalinks and verify product URL base
– Go to Settings > Permalinks and click Save Changes once.
– In the Product permalinks section, choose the needed structure (e.g. Shop base or Shop base with category). If you recently changed the base (for example from /shop/ to something else), set it accordingly and Save Changes again.
2) Make sure the site is Live
– Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Site visibility and set it to Live. Maintenance mode can prevent links from opening for visitors.
3) Check menu items
– Go to Appearance > Menus, open your Shop dropdown, and ensure each item links to an existing Product Category or Page (not an old/demo URL). Update any broken targets.
– If you use a mega menu HTML Block, open that HTML Block and verify the links inside it point to valid categories/pages.
Please share:
– 2–3 example menu links that return the error
– A screenshot of Settings > Permalinks (showing the Product permalinks section)
Also, could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us your admin access so we can check it? Include:
– WP Admin URL
– Username and password
– Permission to deactivate non-required plugins for testing
We will inspect the configuration and fix it for you.
Kind Regards
