Shop page default sort by category order not working

On the shop page, products are sorted alphabetically by default. I want default sort by category order (e.g., Vin Blanc first, then Vin Rouge, etc.).
Tried:
WooCommerce Settings > Products > Default sorting = “Custom ordering”.
Category menu_order set (Vin Blanc = 1, Vin Rouge = 2).
Code snippet pre_get_posts (no effect).
Can you provide the correct method or code for WoodMart shop category sort?
