can you please give me some advice how to have our shop to open up and look more like this

so it opens on the books and you use the categories menu to navigate

at moment ours looks like this

it opens right up on to the category groups ….

we would prefer the other view

Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce > Product catalog and set showing only products.

Enter the Shop page and find the option to always open the Category menu. You will find more instructions here https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/options-for-pages/
