bala_vladParticipantHello,
We are currently experiencing an issue with the shopping cart on our website.
When we add a product to the cart, everything works correctly and the product appears as expected. However, if we then navigate to any other page on the website and click on the cart icon, where the added product should normally be displayed, the cart appears blank/empty.
Have you encountered this issue before? Do you know what might be causing it and how we can resolve it?
As a temporary workaround, our colleagues have created a JavaScript script that forces the product to be displayed in the cart. This partially solves the issue, although the product appears with a delay of approximately one second. We will keep this script active until you can help us find a proper solution.
We are also experiencing a second issue while this temporary script is active. If we add a product to the cart, navigate to another product page, and then click on the cart icon, instead of opening the cart preview, we are sometimes redirected to the full shopping cart page.
We believe the second issue may be related to the temporary JavaScript workaround. Therefore, it is possible that resolving the original cart issue will automatically resolve the second issue as well.
Could you please investigate the original issue and advise us on how we can properly resolve it?
Thank you!

Thank you for contacting WoodMart Support. We’ll be happy to assist you with your request.
Before we continue, we have one quick question for you:
Where did you first hear about WoodMart?
We really appreciate your help with this. It takes just one click, but your answer is extremely valuable to us and helps us understand how customers discover WoodMart:
https://tally.so/r/rj8qWlNow, let’s get back to your request. We understand that the product is added to the cart correctly, but after navigating to another page, the cart widget appears empty when opening the cart icon.
This can be related to the WooCommerce cart fragments/AJAX refresh or caching/optimization, so we would like to investigate the issue directly on your website.
Please provide us with admin access so we can reproduce the issue and check the cart AJAX requests, caching configuration, and the current JavaScript workaround.
Best Regards

bala_vladParticipantHello,
Unfortunately, we cannot remove or disable the cart script created by our developers on the live website while the issue is being investigated, especially during business hours. Doing so could significantly affect our operations, as we receive dozens of orders and hundreds of visitors every day.
For this reason, we have provided you with access to our test website, which is identical to the live website. The script has already been removed there, and we have also created an administrator account for you so that you can investigate the issue and test the necessary changes without affecting the live website.
If you have already identified the cause of the issue and know how it can be resolved, please send us the necessary instructions and we will apply the fix to the live website.
Alternatively, if you believe that you need to implement the fix directly on the live website, we can provide you with temporary administrator access so that the issue can be resolved as quickly as possible. However, we would prefer to provide access to the live website only after the issue has been successfully identified and resolved on the test website.
Please let us know once you have tested the issue and found a solution.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
August 24, 2026 at 4:15 pm #727598Hello,
Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and let me know so I will check and give you a possible solution.
Best Regards.

bala_vladParticipantThis is not helping :))
i deactivated all the plugins and the cart is still not working.
August 26, 2026 at 11:29 am #727669Hello,
Your issue has been resolved. I have tested the issue by activating the WoodMart parent theme, and the mini cart is working correctly. The added product is displayed properly in the cart preview after navigating to another page.
This indicates that the issue is likely related to the child theme/customizations or custom code, rather than the WoodMart theme itself. Please check back your site and verify the issue.

bala_vladParticipantHello,
Yes, i can confirm it. I see that u solved the problem.Thank you very very much!!!
Can u solve it now on our maine website pls or tell us exactly the steps to solve it?
Thank youu!
August 27, 2026 at 10:04 am #727699Hello,
You’re welcome!
I have activated the WoodMart parent theme on your site, and the mini cart is now working correctly.
You can apply the same solution on the live website by checking the child theme and its customizations, as the issue is coming from the child theme.
Best Regards

bala_vladParticipantHello,
From what I can see, the previous issue seems to be working correctly now.
However, we are currently experiencing another problem with the cart. Sometimes, when we click on the cart icon, instead of opening the cart widget as expected, it redirects us directly to the Cart page.
The issue is intermittent — sometimes the widget opens correctly, while other times we are redirected to the Cart page.
Could you please check what might be causing this inconsistent behavior?
Thank you!
August 31, 2026 at 4:33 pm #727911Hello,
I have checked the cart functionality on the site, and it is working correctly. The cart widget opens as expected without redirecting to the Cart page.
This behavior may sometimes be caused by cached data. Please clear all types of cache, including browser, server, and CDN cache, and then check the issue again.
You can also test it in an Incognito/Private browser window to rule out browser cache or extensions.
Best Regards

bala_vladParticipantHello,
Unfortunately, the issue still persists, even when we clone the website to a test environment, as we did for the WPBakery issue.
We will perform an update and make some additional changes and tests here as well, and I will get back to you with more information once we have the results.
Thank you!
September 2, 2026 at 3:18 pm #728077Hello,
Thank you for the update.
Please proceed with the additional tests on the staging site. If the issue still persists after the updates and testing, let us know we will further check on your site and give you a possible solution.
Best Regards.

bala_vladParticipantHello,
We have managed to resolve the issue.
After further investigation, we found that the problem was related to the Apache configuration files. Some configuration changes had previously been made while we were trying to address the server load spikes, and these changes were causing the issue.
We have now corrected the Apache configuration, and everything appears to be working properly again.
Thank you for your assistance and support throughout the troubleshooting process!
