Show “Frequently Bought Together” at cart and checkout page

I am looking at the “Frequently Bought Together” feature that allows to define bundles and include it on selected product pages

Now, instead of showing it on the product page, I would like to offer and show it on the cart and checkout page.

So when product X is incuded in the cart, then show the FBT-Bundle for that product X on the cart and checkout page.

I think this will be a big improvement to bump the conversion rate.

Is something like that possible by appling a workaround? Do you have some idea on how to implement this?

If not, I did add a Feature Request already and hope for some votes

Even though I added it as a feature request, I am interested to see if there are already options right now to implement such a feature.

Sorry, but there is no option available for that in Theme Settings. It requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.

For now, that element is available only for the Product layout – https://take.ms/GXnG6V.

Thanks Luke for clarifying – from an implementation point of view I can understand it. It would require deeper implementation to make this element available to other areas of the website/shop
